  The American Sport Pony division of the American Warmblood Registry was formed in 1999. Zinnia has registration #1 and was the original entrant that inspired the Sport Pony Division. She is by Nutone a Haflinger stallion out of Shasta a Welsh pony mare and combines the temperament of the Haflinger with the  athletic ability of the Welsh for a near perfect cross (much the body type of a Connemara!)  She received a First Premium at the 1999 American Sport Pony Inspection with outstanding scores such as an 8.5 for jumping ability.
