(Why do we feed Equine Senior?)

Equine Senior is a "complete" feed.

This means it has everything your horse needs even without hay or supplements. It is also extremely digestible, with excellent quality controls for consistency.

To feed a large number of horses of different breeds, body conditions and work levels, a complete feed is ideal as it is safe to feed in large quantity to horses that need more calories, and in smaller quantities for our more feed "efficient" ponies.

It is also especially formulated for horses with chewing problems for ease of digestibility, and that is good for other horses as well.

It's very difficult to cause carbohydrate overload with a complete feed, which makes Equine Senior safer overall to feed horses of all body types.

The only reason not to feed Equine Senior is cost. It's expensive!

But we never "skimp" on our horse care to save a few dollars. We only feed the highest quality hay and feed.

Don't forget that the grain or "concentrate" your horses eat is just a very small portion of their total diet. The hay they eat is a much larger portion of their diet.
